Evarexus® is the holding company of Ushir Shah and his family. It does two things: it owns and operates small businesses, and it invests in private companies. Both are done with the same patience.
Operating
When we buy a business, we mean to keep it. We acquire established companies from their founders and run them as owners, not as a fund waiting for an exit.
Our operating companies share a back office through Evarexus: finance, administration and operations support. That lets each business spend its effort on its clients instead of rebuilding the same functions alone.
Investing
Alongside the companies we run, we make minority investments in private companies. We back founders in fields we know, and we hold those positions with the same long view.
Why “family-owned” matters
The name looks ahead: Evarexus was chosen for the next generation of our family, and the company is meant to pass to them along with the businesses it owns. That is why we plan in decades, and why we care about leaving each business stronger than we found it.
